Sinopse: David Sheff (Steve Carell) é um conceituado jornalista e escritor que vive com a segunda esposa e os filhos. O filho mais velho, Nic Sheff (Timothée Chalamet), é viciado em metanfetamina e abala completamente a rotina da família e daquele lar.
